[NEW] 2400+ Winter Foley Sound FX Released

Frozen Footsteps sound bundle was recorded during two special winter nights in a quiet rural area in Finland. The temperature was freezing (-20 °C and below) and every surface was frozen. Everything was covered in frost. However, snow hadn’t fallen yet.
These unique, freezing winter nights without snow enabled recording footsteps on different frozen surfaces that are usually under snowpack.
Highlights:
- 2400+ sounds.
- 8 different surfaces.
- Sneak, walk, run, jump, scuff, slide, & more.

The sounds were unique. Frozen gravel road, frozen grass. Frozen forest, a frozen porch, and more. Everything was crisp, and sounded really cold. I recorded footsteps on every frozen surface I could find at an old farm. Eight surfaces are included in total.
This library includes authentic footsteps sounds for hard-to-access winter surfaces. However, to make the collection special, I didn’t just record the basic footstep sounds. Instead, I recorded footsteps with different walking and running speeds, together with real jumping sounds, which often are missing from footstep sound libraries.
Included surfaces:
Scuffs, slides, and other extra sounds are also included. These can also be used to create and sweeten other ice/winter-related sounds, such as magic spells. Squeaking sounds on wooden porch and wooden bench sound really unpleasant and cold giving huge shivers.
The whole library was recorded in 96 kHz / 24 bit quality with a Sony PCM-D100 handheld recorder using a Rycote Portable Recorder Suspension. All the sounds were carefully edited in iZotope RX5 and Pro Tools 12, and embedded with easily searchable Soundminer and BWAV metadata.
